Looking Forward to Next Fall

One of the things that I have always dreamed of was to be a professional chef. I don’t know if it was my mother’s cooking, or all those cooking shows they seem to have on television, but I knew that cooking was my calling.
So, when it came to decide what I wanted to do after high school, it seemed like a no-brainer: I was going to go into a culinary education program. Even though deciding what to take was the easy part, it was going to be a challenge to decide where I wanted to get my education.
As it turns out, there are a number of cooking schools across our fine nation, but I really didn’t know which one I wanted to attend. Unfortunately, I didn’t know anyone who was a chef, so I was going to have to do my own research as to what school I wanted to go to.
Thankfully there were many different sites that had reviews on the different schools, and I was able to figure out which ones had the better programs. I ended up with a short list of five schools, and I have mailed off my application to each one of them.
I hope that I am accepted at one of them and I will be able to attend in the fall. I am sure looking forward to it.
